We know; Climate Change is not the problem of just one of us or a few regions or countries. It is a problem of the entire earth that affects the continuity of all our lives. Climate change, one of the biggest and most complex problems faced by humanity, will bring new burdens and problem areas to the social and economic lives of young people.
If we don't start doing something now, future generations will suffer the worst consequences of the climate crisis.
It is possible to create a society that becomes increasingly aware of the climate crisis caused by the environmental disasters brought about by the globalizing industrial sector, takes action and strives for a green world, and leave a livable world to future generations.
We know that nature will be inherited by young people. Therefore, young people should be closely interested in the environment and nature protection and be the subject of the environmental movement. It is our duty as educators to invest in the youth of the future today. We need to address young people's perception of environmental problems, their environmental awareness and concerns, and guide them.
Climate change; We strive to stop it and reduce its effects before they reach a point of no return. These efforts will give young people the opportunity to build their future in a sustainable way while combating climate change.
With our project designed for "climate education", European teachers meeting, collaborating and sharing experience, and developing common eco education practices will be the first steps taken in this field.
